Ruud van Rijn has been working in the world of sustainable energy and climate policy since 1994. During this period he acquired a lot of experience in the implementation of all forms of sustainable energy and energy efficiency within governmental organizations and companies. He worked for Novem (now SenterNovem), Shell and was manager of “Energy 2050” the project organization that worked on the implementation of CO₂ reduction targets for the province of Noord-Brabant.

Jeroen studied Ecological Product Technology at Tilburg University and Sustainable Development (Energy and Resources) at Utrecht University. His master thesis dealt with monitoring and reduction of CO₂ emissions caused by the build environment. He developed a hybrid model , based on data on energy use. Jeroen also has experience in the field of bio-energy, energy efficiency and corporate sustainability. Jeroen was previously employed as researcher at REAP, Canada.
