Wind farm Krammer construction kicks off

The construction of Wind farm Krammer commenced in February of this year. Wouter Verweij of Bosch & van Rijn was responsible for the permit management during the preparations and continues to oversee this part of the project during implementation.

At the Krammersluizen complex, 34 Enercon E115 wind turbines were built which are connected, with a transformer station and a 150-kV high-voltage connection, to the power grid. Client and owner are the Zeeuwwind and Deltawind cooperatives. Deltawind president Monique Sweers: ‘It is a unique location on the border of Zeeland and South Holland. Building on a hydraulic engineering works and the fact that the wind farm is surrounded by Natura 2000 areas creates challenging conditions.’ The aim is to carry out the work according to a strict schedule and in good consultation with the other users and stakeholders in the area. Bosch & van Rijn will ensure that all permit requirements are met.’
